About me:
I’m a philosopher, researcher, and lecturer based in Vancouver.
I teach philosophy at the University of British Columbia. My work explores blame, scapegoating, and oppression, with a particular interest in the ethics of our increasingly online lives.
I completed my PhD in Philosophy at McGill University in 2022, followed by an FRQSC postdoctoral fellowship at UBC. I also hold an MA Phil from Sheffield and a BA Phil from Western. What can I say, I really like philosophy.
For more than a decade, I’ve made accessible feminist content online as @ceedling. My experience of the internet informs my research into accountability, public shaming, and what it means to share a social space.
I co-edited Feminist Ethics: An Introduction to Fundamental Concepts and Current Issues with Charlotte Sabourin, published by Routledge in 2026.
